Fossils are ground drops that depict an animal fossilized in stone.

Obtaining

In the wild

A fossil on the ground in a cave

• In every cave, there is always guaranteed to be at least 1 fossil spawner. When a fossil is picked up off the ground, it instantly becomes the fossil of a random creature.

In loot chests

• Fossils can be found rarely in Titanium Chests. They can also be found in Reward Chests that are opened after completing certain quests.

Uses

Quests

• Currently, the only use case for Fossils is for the Fossil Collector's Quest. The player must collect 2 fossils with identical animals to complete the quest.
